- Retained external counsel for the largest international airport operator assisting airport on its full range of contentious and non-contentious matters.
- Successfully negotiated with local airline owners and operators and finalized aircraft purchasing agreements, aircraft lease agreements and security documents in a purchase and lease back transaction.
- Adviced and acted for a private company in the purchase of ATR and also in the leasing out of the aircraft to one of the leading domestic airline operators.
- Advised and acted for a private company in the establishment of the first international airline in Maldives
- Advised Ireland based company on lease of aircraft engine leases in the Maldives.
- Provided retainer services to a Singapore based company contracted as the operator for one of the regional airports in Maldives on various commercial matters including aviation law.
- Advised and acted for a private company in the acquisition of one of the major sea plane operators in Maldives.
- Advised a well known airline in relation to insurance disputes arising out of the disappearance of an aircraft.
- Worked with document automation specialists and programmers to build a bespoke claims management system for a large UK airline.
- Advised an American private investment firm in their acquisition of 100% shares in Trans Maldivian Airways, a seaplane operating company in the Maldives and as a local counsel in the related financing from the branch of a Hong Kong Bank.
- Assisting various corporate clients in negotiating air charter agreements with service providers in Maldives including Manta Air, FlyMe and Trans Maldivian Airways.
- Assisting various corporate clients in procuring and renewal of aerodome licences from the Maldives Civil Aviation Authority.
